The Schmidt family was sent out from our very own church here in Grand Marais because they believed the Lord had called them to the mission field. That long journey has landed them in Panama. They are using their skills in agriculture and medicine as a means to meet the pressing needs of these marginalized people and share the love of Christ. Through patient relationship building, they have made in-roads for the gospel in a very spiritual challenging place.
